The registration of Knaken, BUX Crypto and Bitdenex are still ongoing. These providers may continue their operations as long as they continue to work towards a completed registration.

Despite the fact that the regulation was unavoidable, the impact of the forced registration remains big and contradicts against the desire of innovation and freedom. CoinCompare is in favor of measures to combat crime, but not with proportional requirements that restrict freedom and privacy. A good article in line with this has recently been written by Bitonic. An article we agree with. Article can be found here.

Best Deal provider of the month

Throughout the month, 13 providers with 186 price comparable crypto’s and 372 buying and selling prices have been monitored to conclude who is going home with the gold medal. Here are the Best Deal providers of the month December:

Bitladon! The broker from Aalsmeer remains at the top for offering the most crypto! No less than 220 different and thus leaves the competition far behind. Bitladon also has won a prize in December. With 38% of the votes they won the BCNL Community Award. Concerning the hits or registrations, not much has changed. In November they had 60 and in December they had 59 with a share of 16.38%. A small loss of 0.28%, but enough for the bronze medal.

Bitvavo! Fi-nal-ly, Bitvavo has revealed the news about adding new crypto. The last time was June 2019, when they added Nuls (NULS). The three new crypto are stablecoins Multi-Collateral DAI (DAI), Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC). Adding those three had little to no effect on the number of hits. November ended with 101 hits and a share of 28.05%. December ended with 1 hit more, namely 102 hits and a share of 28.33%. This ensures them the number 2 position as Best Deal provider on CoinCompare.

Coinmerce! There can only be one winner and that is and remains Coinmerce! Also in December they keep most of the hits. They ended November with 145 hits and a share of 40.27%. December is not much different, namely 144 hits with a 40% share. With these figures Coinmerce is again the number 1 Best Deal provider on CoinCompare . Why continue to pay more elsewhere for the same crypto, right? By staying the Best Deal provider month after month in 2020, it can’t be otherwise that after 2019 Coinmerce will also be the Best Deal provider for 2020 yellow pink flowers CoinCompare! Congratulations . Read the announcement here.

Broker of the month at CoinCompare

The best deal provider of the month is determined independently with the average of cumulating snapshots of buy and sell prices of all the best deals that are shown on our comparison page. Logically, the larger the variety of crypto offered, the most chance of becoming the winner. Yet, in the end it is still the price of the crypto that matters as it has to be comparable and shown as best deal. Discounts in Tiers and VIP levels are not included in the calculation. As deals change several times a day, due to the volatility of prices, the provider with the best deal can therefore change as well. Due to that fluctuation we take two snapshots per day to determine the best deal provider, with the most hits on our price comparison page, for that day.
