Bitvavo, the crypto exchange based in Amsterdam, has added 35 new digital assets to its range during the month of August ’21. That is a record number of crypto added within a month by the crypto provider. That Bitvavo’s users are happy with the new digital assets has been confirmed, as the majority reached a daily trading volume of more than € 1,000,000. A great result after all the effort to keep many users satisfied with the new assets.
As we mentioned in our previous article about the new coins in August, Bitvavo goes the extra mile by adding more new digital assets in September. On Wednesday, September 1st, no less than 20 coins were added! The exchange from Amsterdam is thus putting its Dutch competitors out of business. Whether Bitvavo has added Safemoon and Gulden to its range of digital assets remains to be seen. The ones that were added can be seen below in the overview of all 20 new digital assets:
Almost all prices of the above digital assets can be compared except for JUST (JST), Linear (LINA), My Neighbour Alice (ALICE), Oasis Network (ROSE) and Phala Network (PHA). At the time of writing, there are over 10,000 different types of digital assets in the market. It is then nice for users or potential users to indicate which crypto they would like to trade on the exchange. Even then it is still a lot of work to determine which digital assets will be added and which not. The criteria to select can be e.g. what kind of project it is, where and if it is already traded, do direct competitors offer the crypto, etc. Based on what the competitors offer, we had indicated in the previous article, the expectation that the following digital assets will still be added:
We were right on Audius (AUDIO) and Keep Network (KEEP). September 8th, Bitvavo will start adding new digital assets again. This time it is expected to be 10 digital assets, and these will also be the last 10 of the series. Are they going to end the series with a bang or with a hiss? Of course, it remains speculation which ones will be added, but besides the remaining eight, we expect AMP (AMP) and Travala (AVA) to be added as well. September 8th we will know more.

As Bitvavo had previously stated, and can be read in our previous article, it is not yet possible to deposit, withdraw or stake the new digital assets. The options will follow at a later stage. This has everything to do with continuity to be able to quickly add the new digital assets. However, today September 1 ’21, Bitvavo indicated in their blog that the deposit and withdrawal is now supported for Ethereum’s ERC-20 tokens, from the series of added crypto. Which digital assets these are is not indicated. However, it is useful to know if you own the digital asset. Therefore, we created the overview for you of all the new ERC-20 tokens you can deposit and withdraw at Bitvavo:
