Facebook competition and Stellar (XLM) updating logo

Hi CoinCompanions, another buzz to keep you up to date on what is going on.

Announcement.
Two weeks ago we started a Facebook competition with the question: “Which word do we use at CoinCompare for our domainextension .cc?“. People who were interested and providing the correct answer, could win the book ‘Bitcoin en andere cryptovaluta’ by Gert-Jan Lasterie from ontheblockchain.nl. Today, Friday the 15th, we announced the winner on Facebook who provided the correct answer, which was CryptoCurrency. We’ve made contact and we will send the book as soon as possible. Congratulations and happy reading!

News.
Stellar waved their rocket logo goodbye! So we did that as well. Looks a little bit similar as ours, or the Euro symbol €.

Our opinion is that the new logo is more formal and less entertaining. “Could you see a cartoon rocket ship in use at some central bank or in a press release from a national monetary authority? We couldn’t either.” Okay, makes sense. Of course the announcement is well planned as XLM, the cryptocurrency of Stellars blockchain, is being listed on Coinbase Pro. And according to expectation later on Coinbase. If it will be listed on Coinbase, than also on coincompare.eu to keep everything up to date. Due to the listing XLM has risen to $ 0,10 cents according to coinmarketcap.
